Whereoware, an award-winning digital experience agency, announced today the addition of David Sterenberg as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
This strategic hire to Whereoware’s executive team reinforces their commitment to transforming clients’ digital experience (DX) by marrying powerful technology, strategic activation, integrated data solutions, and expert business consulting.
As CRO, Sterenberg will lead and manage Whereoware’s overall growth strategy, inclusive of sales, marketing, and client partner teams.
His focus includes deepening and expanding the strategic partnerships with Whereoware’s clients, ensuring their success, and advancing their position as digital experience leaders.
Another key initiative is expanding the breadth and depth of digital experience solution and technology partnerships, including those with existing partners Optimizely, Salesforce, and Acquia-Drupal.
Lastly and critically, Sterenberg will drive a comprehensive growth plan that includes analyst relations, differentiated go-to-market solutions, and the operational structure to support rapid expansion for the 25-year-old agency.
“As a digital experience agency, we continuously evolve our leadership teams, service offerings, and internal systems to deliver more transformative solutions for our clients. We’re thrilled to welcome an executive of David’s caliber to lead our demand generation and customer management teams. Sterenberg brings tremendous energy and expertise, driving clear victories and rapid growth – he’s a terrific addition to the team.” said Whereoware CEO Michael Mathias.
Sterenberg brings 20+ years of digital transformation business and sales services experience, driving sales and client teams to achieve exponential customer acquisition, account expansion, and revenue growth.
With executive leadership roles at technology firms like Kopius and Tahzoo, Sterenberg has a long legacy of leading go-to-market solutions designed to maximize customer experience, profitability, revenue, and lifetime value.
“I’m excited to join the fantastic team at Whereoware,” said Sterenberg. “Their combination of experience strategy, technology, data, and design expertise is exactly what’s needed in today’s market. We uniquely help clients find tremendous value and growth, while at the same time, cutting the inefficiency that inflates operating costs. We’ve hit the ground running, and I’m thrilled to be here.”
Sterenberg joins Whereoware at a pivotal growth stage, following the successful acquisition of a user experience consultancy in 2022 and senior leadership hires across data solutions, technology, and strategic consultation service teams.
